This conjures up a whole new level of pooch-spoiling in most people's minds and I am never entirely sure the question is meant as a compliment. No matter, they are here because someone else couldn't meet their obligation to them or worse. Each one of them is adopted.
Little Sam was born and I hardly had time to breathe, or sleep, or eat, let alone take walks. I hired a babysitter a couple of hours a week, and when I didn't use the time to collapse on my bed, I scrounged up the leashes.
I can't be present for every decision she'll make, now or later, to offer advice for her to follow or ignore; she needs to develop her ability take stock of whatever situation and moment she's in and then make good choices.
Because my attention is in a million places, the to-do list is monumental. And the fact that technology gives us all sorts of cool way to be more efficient makes it seem like we should keep doing more. But there are downsides to doing more.
