I wonder if the wearing and promotion of the "faux," normalized the style, causing the explosive resurgence of real fur back to the center of our culture. I believe that wearing anything that looks like fur advertises the trend and encourages others to dress that way.
Like all children, I wore what my parents gave me. Unlike most children, my mother was a fashion icon, so I wore lots of high-end clothes and even got to meet and get fashion tips from famous designers.
Fur farms are among the worst places on earth for an animal. Reading articles about these places and what happens to the animals is so horrifying and emotionally disturbing that I could no longer go on reading.
