The forces of Good in this world do not employ abusers to break sweet spirits. Those of us who were abused, bullied and mistreated have a choice to make: We can hide our injuries or we can stand up for justice and say, "No more."
We, as fellow human beings, and especially as people of faith, must end this loss of precious life and step up to the challenge to fully welcome and shelter all our children -- no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation.
