Gay men are no more racist for not being attracted to someone because of their skin colour or ethnicity than they are sexist for not being attracted to women.
I like to think that there exists a global community of gay men and women who, in the face of discrimination and prejudice, all love and respect each other regardless of skin color. Yeah, right!
It's hard being a queer person in a predominantly straight and non-transgender world. It's twice as hard, however, to be a queer person of color. We're frequently rendered invisible by the predominantly white LGBT community.
