America has only two types of citizens: millionaires and those who shortly expect to be millionaires. The result is we admire money and project onto the wealthy characteristics they don't possess. And putting those people into the White House is a grave mistake.
So, again, how permanent are digital media? Just about as permanent as we want their contents to be. Whole dynasties may be lost, as Shelley's "Ozymandius" illustrates, but @Dadboner is an example of a literary artifact worth preserving.
