Several times a week, I will have a patient come to my office who simply does not want to have their tattoo anymore. The patients who ask to have their tattoo or tattoos removed are all different ages, usually in their 20s or 30s but some are 40s to 60s.

I feel attacked. I am mentally under siege by the constant mention of plastic surgery in the media. I can't help but ask -- why are we now bombarded by articles of who's had work done or the newest procedure?

I want her to know that she is sexy because she is who she is, not because of what she looks like or wears. That sexy isn't a one-size-fits-all mold every woman has to stuff herself into.
