Throughout my hair journey, I wore braids, twists, locs, weaves, relaxed agin, cut it off and relaxed and cut it off again -- all the while loving the freedom of expressing who I was at that point in time in my life.
Several times a week, I will have a patient come to my office who simply does not want to have their tattoo anymore. The patients who ask to have their tattoo or tattoos removed are all different ages, usually in their 20s or 30s but some are 40s to 60s.
I feel attacked. I am mentally under siege by the constant mention of plastic surgery in the media. I can't help but ask -- why are we now bombarded by articles of who's had work done or the newest procedure?
