I'm encountering much that is familiar, much that is new, much that will require the best in my new campus family and me. It makes the season of moving in all the more exciting, demanding, and maybe a little disconcerting.
There is a point where a passion for one's work crosses over into workaholism. Much like someone with a substance abuse problem, the drive to get another "creative high" can keep an artist chasing after professional rewards while neglecting his personal relationships.
After decades of exploring the human potential movement and studying many methods of its gurus, I now believe that I have garnered enough information, instruction and experience to edit it all down to some simple guidelines that have proven invaluable to me.
