This is Part 2 in my series about what makes a great million dollar candidate. It's funny how so many candidates say, "Oh, I don't need that. I'm a great candidate." My response is, "No disrespect, then why are you unemployed?"
A question that comes up frequently is, "What makes a great million dollar candidate?" So here are three attributes that hiring companies and Executive Recruiters look for in "A" (the best) candidates.
What exactly is an intern? Well, they're not an administrative superstar or an expert coffee fetcher. If the first thing that comes to mind is cheap or free labor, then it's time to send your definition back to the drawing board.
It's easy to be imprecise about what kind of "smart" we are looking for when hiring. Asking, "is someone smart" is a simple way to screen a candidate. Just be sure that you're not going from being simple to being simplistic. Know what you need and where you need it.
