I am on the bus! Finally! After much Greyhounding and some hitchhiking and more rain than I would have preferred during the hitchhiking. Also hitchhiking is wildly discouraging when it's raining. Must avoid hitchhiking during storms in the future. But anyway! Made it to the bus!
This is a log of my movements between New York City and the bus. It's three unequal parts, all meandering and moderately pointless, but starting the bus seemed a bit like cheating without talking about the journey to get there even a little bit.
Koren finds much of her design inspiration while exploring the rich cultural heritage of Americana. Her motto, "cool is when vintage meets modern," permeates all of her hard work, positioning Hobo as America's foremost fun and funky accessories brand.
Whether or not Tully's work will strike a chord with contemporary readers remains to be seen. Certainly, readers of Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, William Vollmann or Stephen Elliott will find something of interest in Tully's stories and prose.
