They may turn out to be a little more randomly shaped and spikier than the traditional rounder and flatter "pancake," but that only adds to their crunchy deliciousness. In our house we serve them with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of caviar. And champagne. Of course.
Even for extroverts, the month of December can be stressful. But for introverts who struggle with honoring their own temperament and who have friends and family who don't understand introversion, the holidays can be an overwhelming time.
It's like once the most wonderful time of the year hits, everyone smiles and gives thanks and acts nice and looks ahead to the new year. Everyone seems to check out of reality and focus on the happiness surrounding them.
'Tis the season for skiing powder! Oh, and the holidays are upon us as well. I'd rather bury my head in the snow than deal with shopping and, luckily, there are some festive events taking place at ski resorts across the U.S. and the Canadian Rockies.
