Hearing about racism day in and day out can seem like "drops of water" on an otherwise sunny day in America. But it's time to stop ignoring the clouds on the horizon. The storm has been around us for years.
Last night the Republican National Convention began the third movement in the symphony of the 2012 election. And instead of the careful minuet we've come to expect from Republicans, we got a sherzo, a quick-paced comedy.
If these confused, self-contradictory people truly wanted to be responsible for cutting government spending, building their own businesses and financing their own disaster relief, perhaps they should be challenged to do so.
