To question Daley is to question his love for the city and his omniscient ability to know what is best for it. Mr. Mayor, it's not about who has the franchise on love. Chicago's a big place, and a lot of people love it just as much as you do.

Kwame Raoul introduced legislation for public financing two years ago. His predecessor, Barack Obama, sponsored the same legislation in 2005. What did Chicago newspapers editorialize at the time at the time on the Obama bill? Nothing.
