Many moons ago, Thomas Logan "paid it forward" by investing time and effort into a couple of very young emerging artists at Rising Stars. Now two of them intend to do the same by combining their passion for theater with their love of Michigan.
I escaped the cornfields to pursue more intense arts education at Interlochen Arts Academy, then, after college, I joined the Peace Corps. I had a very idealistic vision of how my service would change the world (I was 22, after all).
"We all have many different voices," he says. "The voice is such an amazing instrument that I feel like a mad scientist who does different things with it. Like a painter, I try different colors out. It gives me joy every day of my life."
