CIRP bases its findings on its survey of 500 US Apple customers that purchased an iPhone, iPad or Mac in the US in October-December 2013. The iPhone 5S clearly excelled, selling almost three out of five iPhones in the most recent quarter.
I showed up to school the next day, and casually showed off my brand new baby blue phone. People immediately started asking me, "Is that the new iPhone, does the finger scan work, why is yours blue?" without giving me time to answer.
Although the changes in iOS 7 feel drastic in some places and unnecessary in others, the updates it included are effective and intuitive. It's nice to see Apple hasn't lost its touch with software. Time will tell whether or not they can continue innovating with their hardware.
