Isai Madriz is the guy who hopped on his rickety bicycle and pedaled from Chicago to Argentina for to raise money for low-income students to go to college. Here is a note he sent me a few days ago.

I stood next to the Chicago river with a skinny little guy who had gotten it into his head that he was going to ride his rickety bicycle from the 'burbs to Argentina for twenty months in order to raise money for low-income students to go to college.
