"Have you thought about making shoes as well as bags?" Such was the advice of Bedriye, one of our Turkish participants at the Global Women in Management (GWIM) workshop.
The people who met here deal with women's issues: slavery, land rights, access to finance, women as a weapon of war, maternal death, girls in education, to name a few. None of those are easy work.
Over and over, participants agreed that "this is the time for financial inclusion for women." And they have some expert advice from within their ranks on how to pull this off.
