This week's blockbuster event was a back-to-back Beverly Hills extravaganza, featuring the season finale and the first part of the reunion. The upside is that neither Faye nor Marisa were in the second hour.
There's no doubt that there is something genius about the formula that is the Real Housewives franchise. It's everything you've ever wanted your life to be... but you just can't afford. There is a special place in my heart for the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Season 16 of "Dancing with the Stars" kicked off on Monday night, complete with a cast of vaguely famous reality stars, athletes, and professionally trained dancers who probably shouldn't be allowed to compete against the likes of Andy Dick.
Tonight's episode featured a serious dose of "RHOBH" drama, and while the ladies acted (and even described themselves!) as high schoolers, I just can't seem to break down the craziness that was episode 18.
The ladies returned from Paris in time for Kyle to open her hideous store. Taylor confronts Yolanda about her husband's messy past while Dana returned without her $25 thousand sunglasses but with a whole lot of baggage.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returned with everybody fighting! Brandi announced that Adrienne is suing her, while Kim confronted Kyle for her recent behavior. And Yolanda urged her cast mates to consider a crazy diet.
Being together in hospitals tends to bring out intense emotions. Everything is illuminated. Perhaps it's the proximity to our inevitable mortality that causes conversations to become more intimate which is never a bad thing.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returned with a two-hour special. Brandi faced "the other woman," while Taylor's lawsuit came to a devastating end. And audiences still have no idea what Brandi said about Adrienne.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returned to its sleepy ways. Faye Resnick returned to host a "Dinner Party From Hell: Part Deux" that fell completely flat -- probably because we have no idea what Brandi said about Adrienne.
It only took Bravo six episodes of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" to spice up what was becoming a real snooze-fest of a series, but the network finally did it. Tonight's main event rivaled Kim Richards' "slut pig" outburst in Season 2.
