Once Upon a Time is a good show for a lot of reasons (strong female leads, good acting, an ambitious premise, great writing) but it would be easy for the show to lose sight of the forest for the trees.

The Lost finale was a tragedy, a genuinely uninvolving and downright dull botch that not only fails as a stand-alone episode and fails as a finale, but lessens the dramatic impact of the last six years.

We've always known that sooner or later Lost would return to tantalize us again with its unanswered questions. Not so now. On May 23rd the final episode will air and that will be that. Or will it?
