I want to make something perfectly clear. I have supported many Republicans in recent years including my current senators John Kyl and John McCain. I ...
Sarah Palin is wading back into the warm bowels of victimhood, whining that everyone's pilin' on about her steppin' down.
Unlike most of the rest of Europe, Russia is hardly in the grips of Obamamania. He's certainly more popular than George W. Bush or John McCain, but that's damning with faint praise.
Palin must assume the pitfalls of "movement" candidacies, running for the nation's highest office on the basis of lofty ideals and downplaying the importance of tried-and-true experience.
The Edwards and Palin stories both underscore the quirk in our electoral system through which vice presidents are nominated.
Forget the Jackson 5, this was the weekend for the Palin 5.
After reading Palin's interview in Runner's World, I doubt she'll be off the political stage anytime soon. A presidential campaign is a long race that requires a lot of endurance.
Breaking News: Palin's Remarks at Second Press Conference not yet Broadcast I have to be honest with y'all just why I'm stepping down as Governor. I'...
What Palin's announcement really signifies is the final link in the chain confirming voters' choices across the board in last November's elections.
The undermining of Palin happened well before the networks and SNL got to her. The polls proved it.
She is not a narcissist. She just has the good sense to realize she is better and more deserving than most people to rule the planet and prepare humanity for the end of days.
Palin expects no one to wonder why in the world she would step down from the governorship, which is the only platform from which she can claim any political legitimacy. And we're not supposed to speculate? Come now.
If you haven't seen this before, it's because the image, like Palin herself, is radioactive.
He "stands with Iran." McCain Cereal: no taste and nutrition-free....
North Korea was to have been the drama of the day. But it turned into a major fizzle.
This is a fight between some neocons who still want to promote Palin and their discredited geopolitical agenda against some Republican would-be modernizers.
Over 1,000 people descended upon the annual Personal Democracy Forum earlier this week. Here are some of my notes -- taken on Twitter, of course -- from the two day conference.
Republicans' private embraces are often in complete contradistinction with their own oft-trumpeted, Biblically-mandated "moral" guidelines for the rest of us.
With respect to bipartisanship, is hope lost, or is a seed planted that will continue to grow into 2010, 2012, 2016?
As protesters in Tehran have been met with the oppressive and brutal hand of its government, what is the proper tone that the president should strike?

is it true that the citizens up in alaska are getting ready to file a class-action lawsuit against all the bloggers for filing frivolous ethics charges against Palin and the State in order to recoop the money the state paid to investigate the lame charges filed
Pretty deep in these parts. Need some toilet paper? HAHA lol
"Bailin' Palin the Alaskan Buttercup" The gift that keeps on takin'
Hey watch out gang, did you forget she will sue you for talking about her! Watch yourselves! She talks negative about everyone but if you say anything about her, those high powered lawyers will get ya! wink wink, cheese (colgate commercial or do you think ultra bright).
I have a question. Why is it when this woman makes a statement, everyone seems to get wrapped up in it, and the message is lost! Is she fishing while on tax payers time like the rest of the lame duck Governors? Not accusing, just asking.
Why did she ramble out her announcement about stepping down? I couldn't believe how long it took her to get out words. Is the entire family in the entertainment business? It seems everyone has some type of media job. Spokesperson, etc
Many are saying because the Personnel Board is appointed by Palin, therefore they acquitted her, and because the AG is also appointed by her, and yada yada. But remember history, 4 out of 9 justices during Nixon watergate was APPOINTED BY NIXON, Burger, Rehnquist, Blackmun, and Powell, NONE of them decided in favor of Nixon. Even Rehnquist the far-right guy voted abstention.
The people who administer justice seldom do favor to the people who appointed them, this is Watergate is the proof. I have confidence in the decision of the officials of Alaska who are working on the complaints. If they say she did the wrongdoing with proof, send her to jail like they sent Blago. If not, innocent until proven guilty. Now apparently she has not been convicted of anything despite multiple complaints, I don't think further ones will come in fruition.
There's a HUGE difference between justices from Nixon's time and the high school friends Palin appointed on the personnel board don't you think???
Tell me what the difference is, besides higher office and maybe a higher academic degree
