By choosing to place their ad dollars with Rush Limbaugh, Angie's List is supporting his regular spew of offensive, vulgar and divisive rhetoric about women, minorities, and just about anyone else that he has in his gunsights at any given time.
Which is the true "conservative" resolution? The one that tells states what to do and demands a one-size-fits-all approach? Or the one that trusts states to make up their own minds -- without interference from Washington?
The Vice Presidency is an odd job interview. Best way to apply is to deny desiring the position. Saying exemplary things about the candidate never hurts.

Conventional wisdom holds that many if not most of today's 20-somethings don't care about electoral politics -- and won't be voting for president in 2012 -- because they are indifferent to the world around them.
Given Republican treachery, it's a miracle the US economy shows any life. To the extent that it does, credit Barack Obama. He's not a failed president; he's succeeded despite perfidious Republican obstruction.
The means-testing proposal is a Trojan horse. It uses anti-millionaire rhetoric to create the machinery for denying benefits to rich people, but its backers will then use that machinery against most Americans.
For all of Mitch Daniels' lofty talk about the "language of unity" and a "program of renewal that rebuilds the dream for all," it sure would have been nice to hear what he might do for women.
