Japan's sixth-largest automaker has lost half of its market value since it admitted last week that it overstated the fuel economy of four domestic minivehicle models.
Mitsubishi Motors is the first Japanese automaker to report misconduct involving fuel economy tests since Volkswagen was discovered last year.
