Mixed Faith Marriages

I'm getting married in less than a month, to a man everyone assumes is Jewish. His name sounds Jewish. He looks like he could pass for Jewish. He comes to services, and he sings the prayers. But he is not Jewish.

The Clinton-Mezvinsky wedding is a perfect expression of the emerging American religious and social landscape in which one's inherited group identity bears little or no significance on one's marriage.

I suspect that when couples split on religious grounds -- or at least cite religion in a long list of complaints -- the real problem is that love didn't mature.
