Americans have celebrated Independence Day with fireworks displays since the country's first Fourth of July in 1777. Today, the fireworks industry is big business, with average Americans spending millions of dollars on retail fireworks every year.
You haven't heard of Holland Marie. But you will. For two years the Nashville rocker has been ripping up Music City's honky tonks, marching across the stage in her skin-tight, black pleather pants, gyrating her hips and banging her long, brown locks with Def Leppard-like ferocity.
The South has evolved y'all. Ok, maybe that's speaking a bit prematurely, but on a recent visit to Music City, AKA Nashville, TN, what I found beyond the deep fried everything, was a city on the verge of being socially awesome for the gay community.
