Every fall Sunday, starting when I was five years old, my father turned the dial of our black-and-white TV to the CBS broadcast of the New York Giants game. The oldest of three girls, I was clearly the son that wasn't.
It dawned on me this morning that my Sundays are WIDE open now that the NFL is over. I honestly have no idea what to do with myself. Although, I think my cat will freak out if I'm not there on the couch for hours at a time like I was during the season.
At first glance the Giants share very little with the fictional team in Dillon, Texas. However, after rewatching the first season this past week, it dawned on me that this year's Giants team is shockingly similar to the Dillon Panthers/Lions.
