Make all the jokes you want. The next mayor of New York City will be Anthony Weiner. The current crop of mayoral candidates is so mediocre that, until Weiner's entry last week, Election Day was on its way to attracting one of the lowest voter turnouts in history.
The candidates for Mayor in 2013 are being tested on their courage to stand up and support the continuation of the stop-and-frisk program. Who among them supports the Mayor and Police Commissioner at this time?
As a New York voter and as a candidate for mayor I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how the so-called "frontrunners" for mayor are competing with each other to see who can best spend our taxpayer dollars outside of New York City.
