It could have been the presence of celebrities such as Adrian Grenier or post event parties on sky-scraper roof tops. But regardless, the Opportunity Green Conference had a cool factor that exceeded the green events I've been to recently.
While co-hosting the Opportunity Green conference held at Los Angeles Center Studios downtown, I couldn't help but think of the Red Hot Chili Peppers I listened to the closing keynote by NIKE VP of Sustainable Business and Innovation, Hannah Jones.
The way Tom Ridgeway, VP of Patagonia's Environmental Programs, describes Patagonia's approach to products, it seems like the store has an "eco oath" much like a doctor's hippocratic oath ("First do no harm").
