Contrary to what she has promulgated afterwards about believing in victory until the end in 2008, Sarah Palin, according to John McCain advisors, had long believed the loss was inevitable -- she had clearly set her sights on 2012.
McCain's strategy is that there is enough of a "Bradley effect" that the election is 3%-5% closer than the polls indicate, and that scare tactics can convince another 3%-5% of white voters not to vote Obama.
A few of my very smart women friends think Palin has what it takes. I don't get it. Why can't they see what I see and what many conservative pundits are falling all over themselves to say? Palin is not qualified. I was so confused, I sought the advice of experts.
