Corner stores and delis play a significant part in the New York City identity. I place it up there with the pigeon, the subway, and I'll go as far as to say The Empire Sate Building. It has become a staple in the streetscape of this city.
It's been a while. As I read through my last articles, I can see how much my photographic preferences have changed. I am different. My world is different. How I view life is different. My photography has changed.
When I arrived in New York in August 2010 I'd never been there before. I vividly remember looking out the window as my bus emerged from the Lincoln Tunnel, and looking down on all the sidewalks. I'd never seen anything like it.
