At the end of the day we are not customers to Facebook rather we are products that offer cash potential to advertisers (their true customers) based on every online move we make. Facebook knows it. We know it. Zuckasaurus knows it.
We need to create a framework where professionals have the confidence to use the web and social media to its fullest. However, we must proceed carefully and under an honor system that infuses credibility.
Merriam-Webster's online dictionary defines privacy as "freedom from unauthorized intrusion." The United States government defines privacy as "freedom from unauthorized intrusion, except by us." Personally I prefer the former definition.
