Right now, in every state across America, teams of people are building websites that will change the health care landscape in this country. These "Health Insurance Exchanges" will offer Americans government-run health insurance plans.
I'm so convinced that the private market will make everything better that I think we should do it across the board. Let's start with firecare. Why should I pay for firecare services for people who are dumb enough to start fires?

Insurance companies have no liability or risk if they chose not to cover prenatal tests. And since health care providers must do these tests, whether they are paid for or not, OB providers and hospitals absorb the cost.
