Though we aren't fighting a traditional war, we are soldiers nonetheless, soldiers who, when called upon, will draw their sword to protect the younger ones from the hurt that they once endured, soldiers drafted into an army not by choice but by providence.

Lucas Waldron

When I see my cousin asserting his comfort with calling his (presumably straight male) friends "faggots," I do not feel directly afraid of my cousin, but I feel afraid of the culture that both he and I are surrounded by and respond so differently to.

Chris Brady

It is noble of Justice Kennedy to show concern for children being raised by same-sex couples, but what about the voices of the millions of LGBT children across America? All children should grow up knowing that when they become adults, they too can have marriages and families.

I'd believed that I was headed for greatness, but they had revealed in me a thing that was seemingly so dirty, so disgusting that my other talents paled in comparison to the supposed vileness of being a practicing homosexual. And for this they bullied me right out of the church.
