If progressive Jews really believe that ending the occupation and supporting a Palestinian state is in Israel's best interests, they will turn the tables on their "mainstream" friends.

I know Israel acts very improperly sometimes, but make up your mind already. Either it's the worst of humanity or the fog of war. Don't you understand that discourse about this conflict has no place for nuance and reappraisal?

If this Congress votes today to condemn a report it has not read, concerning events it has totally ignored, about violations of law of which it is unaware, it will have brought shame to this great institution.

With the release of the Goldstone report, Israel has a choice. It can continue to shoot the messenger and bury its head in the sand, or it can initiate a genuine process of truth-telling and taking responsibility.
