Isn't it a problem that regardless of who becomes president, less than a quarter of what he says is true? Dishonesty and politics are so commonly associated that most Americans expect politicians to lie.
It is comforting to know you can trust someone, even if you disagree with some of their ideas. One earns trust by being honest, truthful and consistent. There is only one candidate who has been trustworthy throughout this campaign.
News producers are afraid that indefatigable fact checking of either party will bore the pants off people. But I don't smell any fear of ennui emanating from station owners making billions off broadcasting the Big Lie.
