While leading the country is one of the harder jobs you can have, it does come with a few perks. We imagine the extensive traveling is exhausting, but at least it gives presidents the chance to see some amazing places and stay in some of the world's most luxurious hotels: Four-poster beds, dining rooms, and spacious bathrooms are always on the checklist.
Arizona has been a big retirement destination for many years, and for good reason. In fact, the very first Active Adult Community in the US, Sun City, was developed there over 50 years ago. But the reasons to choose Arizona are more than just the obvious. While AZ has hundreds of days of abundant sunshine and tons of golf courses, it has a lot more going for it than only sun and golf.
I cannot believe how much fun I'm having thinking about where I might like to live, once the kids are gone and my husband and I are in a position to think about retiring. Well, maybe not retiring exactly, but doing something different than the same old thing. We very well may continue working but I'd like to have a new adventure.
