I think that Kate and William wipe snotty noses and get up for night feedings just like the rest of us. And because I wish someone had given me more information about what it's like to be a parent of two, I'm sharing a few unsolicited words of warning.
Should people expecting their second or third child have baby showers? Specifically, if the second child is of the same gender, should that family have a baby shower and expect gifts? Is there basic baby shower etiquette for families with multiple children?
Babies don't know -- and don't care -- if they are using their older sibling's hand me downs. They don't have it worse than their older siblings, just because they don't have a fancy new bouncy seat. The only person who knows or who cares that it's the same stuff is the parent who passed it down.
Newborns eat, poop and sleep. Mostly, they sleep. But more importantly, newborns are your one-way ticket to staying home in your PJs while delegating toddler-care to your spouse, with no guilt whatsoever!
