It dawned on me that I have led a life of privilege. This is not because my parents brought me up in a life of luxury -- in fact, a significant part of my life was that of severe economic, social and emotional hardships -- but because, growing up, I never once believed that I was of a different gender than the 600-plus million males in India.
He is endearing and he's 6 and "boys will be boys." But, the girl he kissed without permission is also probably endearing, also 6 and not interested in his touching her.
