For the sake of the final scene of the Weeds season, I won't tell you what happens next, but let's just say that it's pineapple upside down cake time.
This episode was a head turner for sure in an uneven season, to say the least. One week Weeds was jumping the shark, the next it was harpooning it.
Celia has entered a whole new world; from cosmetic sales to drug dealing and now, dios mio! she's exploring lesbianism. That's how it happens, I've heard.
Andy's wedding gift to Nancy is to sign over his baby daddy rights back to Esteban, but he can't stomach actually attending the wedding.
Well, color me unsurprised that the self-absorbed, self-motivated, self-obsessed Nancy B. has gone back to her regular selfish ways this week.
My vote? Best episode so far this season. What do you think?
Once Nancy sees that the house is being outfitted with a birthing room, and she's pretty much a prisoner, she reaches out to the one person who will always save her -- Andy.
We rejoin Nancy B. six months later as she's living la buena vida in Esteban's mansion, a few short miles (yet a veritable world away) from her house in Ren-Mar.
This episode ends with a major decision on Nancy's part to take back control. Sort of...
It's clear by now that Nancy's world has spun so far out of control that all she can do is wander in a daze through it.
We rejoin Lady Botwin in her kitchen as she attempts to stare down Cesar, the "minder" thoughtfully provided by baby daddy Esteban.
Every Weeds episode has at least one 420 Moment.
