The massive set of film, music and interactive technology conferences have taken over the city of Austin each year since 1987, so it should come as no surprise that in 2015 yet another joined the fray: the Health & MedTech Expo.

Companies that don't have active social media accounts and multiple representatives at SXSW are now the exception than the rule. While this is a great thing, I do worry that too many companies focus more on how to use social media to sell product than as a tool to embrace their communities in a true two-way fashion.
