Crashing waves! Mountains! Boats! This week on Desiree's reality TV journey for love, "The Bachelorette" crew has traveled to the island of Madeira, which as we're frequently reminded, is off the coast of Portugal. And -- shocker! -- everyone thinks it's the perfect place for romance/love/happiness.
After a rousing week of Hurricane Sandy destruction in Jersey, Desiree's 11 remaining dude-bros are off to their first international destination: Munich, Germany. Naturally the episode begins with yodeling, the subway, panoramic views of the city and a whole lot of Americans attempting to speak German.
The emotional walls are starting to come down as the testosterone levels begin to rise. This episode features two group dates that will inspire the men to channel the competitive spirit they either keep conveniently tucked away behind a gentlemanly demeanor or blatantly display through thick necks and tribal arm band tattoos.
I have to congratulate ABC for truly going the distance during the group date. Asking the whitest of white guys to channel their inner rap artist was pure gold. And I commend Soulja Boy for having the unfailing strength, unwavering ability and unending spirit to neither laugh nor cry during his mentoring sessions on how to be thug.
