I end my week how it begins, with singers small in stature, but big in both range and personality.
It is with no regret that I head north this week, but I would be remiss if I also didn't mention the plethora of musical entertainment that I leave behind.
There will be comfort to be had in the various music venues across D.C. Whether it's pop, hip-hop, rock, or rockabilly that makes you feel at home, there's somewhere for you to be this week.
The most notable shows of the week may be the ones I am choosing not to attend. It's not that the concerts that I will attend are entirely unknown, but just that much more reliable than the big names.
I am listening to the David Wax Museum about once or twice each afternoon right now and you might be too pretty soon. Don't leave this band behind in your listening, or you may regret it when your friends tell you about them later.
