If you've had any up-close-and-personal experience with the subject matter of Eleven, you may not imagine that 'transfixed' would be your reaction. But the story line is so well-conceived and so well-executed I'd say chances are pretty good it will be.
Lou Engle understands that much of Michigan is conservative. If he were able to peel off 15 or 20 percent of Detroit's black Democratic vote, he might be able to turn the state solidly red. The main wedge issue he selected to accomplish his plan is abortion.
