I begin a sabbatical from my position as the President of Marymount California University with hopes to identify and address certain leadership theory questions that present themselves to both my sector (higher education) and modern society.
We are all standing on the shoulders of those who believed in us long before we believed in ourselves. They were mentors long before the term gained the recognition that it has today.
These are historic times, when type of degree and field of study are critical for moving the country and economy ahead. By really looking down the road, whether on a bike or at a university, we will be better prepared for what lies ahead.
