In 2011, post-9/11 male veterans between the ages of 18 and 24 faced an unemployment rate of 29 percent. Think about that for a moment. Think about that for a moment. Can you imagine a young person, after serving their country in very dangerous situations for a modest paycheck, coming home to an environment where around a third of his or her friends can't find a decent job?
