I am indeed convinced that Metro's decision to locate a UCLA subway station almost a mile away from UCLA is a bad one.

The station planned for the Westside extension's Purple Line is known as the "UCLA/Westwood" station. USC gets its station, now UCLA gets its station. Let the best team win, right? Not so fast.

The Constellation station that Epstein is so fervently in favor of is exactly one block from the Santa Monica station that had been planned by Metro for the better part of a decade.
