Instead of complaining on TV about TV, Obama should try changing the channel. He could hold more press conferences, and invite not only White House reporters, but also environmental experts for a deeper exchange on the crisis.
The media must capture the full panoply of presidential emo and put it on their teevees, for the ratings! And the best part of it is that no amount of emotion, of raging, of garment rending, will ever be enough.
The White House press corps is upset that Obama kept reporters from covering his signing of the Bart Stupak Mollification Executive Order Of 2010, instead opting to unceremoniously sign the order behind closed doors.
It's hard for me to muster up even a whit of sympathy for the forever-beleaguered White House Press Corps. Yet they persist, in a self-made glass case of emotion, to bitch about how difficult their jobs are.
