In remembrance of the 4,000 brave men and women who sacrificed everything for us -- and the two men who would continue this great tragedy, despite the cost to our soldiers, our military, and our nation.

There really should be 4000 tiny pics of Bush to make up ONE of the photos of our brave soldiers.
I appreciate the political statement being made with this composite, but I think it's only fair to point out that there are many, many repeats in the image. There are not 4000 different pictures.
You took the time to look at all the pictures, but not the time to read the article in which they explained this.
This is for ALL you know...... please help me spread this to save lives..... .this is NOT "religion", this is Reality, objective reality!
I find it very offensive that the huffington post would misuse the pictures of our soldiers without their permission. These are heroes who have given their lives for our country, many of whom believed very strongly in the war. I find it to be in very poor taste to use our deceased soldiers to further a political agenda.
you should reserve you dismay for the men in the picture, W and Mac. they actually sent these soldiers to their deaths, by lying to them.
These images while sad, reflect the TRUE reality of the tragic consequences of war.
Actually, they gave their lives for someone else's country.
The picture is a stunning indictment of these neocon man-pigs. It should be reproduced and posted around this country since there are still 30% of Americans who think the president is doing a good job. Four more years with McBush is a danger and a risk that this country will not survive.
Take it from me... there are some pills you can get that will help to make you feel better.
This is a sad, sad thing to put on the top of the page, HP. Nobody is laughing about this. NOBODY. THe picture is totally dishonest.
Bush laughed that he couldn't find WMD's. He even looked under his desk remember? McCain thinks the words "bomb Iran" are catchy like a Beach Boys song. So yes, war is funny to these two. Which is the point.
No. The statement was made at the expense of these young people you say you have the utmost respect for. That's the point. It's not about Bush it's about those kids you are so darned proud of. This is todays version of spitting on them at the airport. Get the point?
If people would only stop sitting half-way.. .
When they asked you why we died
want the troops home?
So many faces. Also, let us not forget the (probably) hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis, and those from other places, who's lives were equally valuable.
At first I appreciated this image, but after reading the comments I have mixed feelings. Why Bush and McCain? What about the millions of us who voted Bush into power two times? What about the millions of us who have failed to elect representatives that would impeach Bush and end the war?
I agree, you should be called out for your responsibility for the deaths of innocent Americans as well.
that would be a pretty big picture.
If the so called media(msnbc, fox and cnn) would have spent 1 tenth of the time they spent on the Rev. Wright, Monica Lewinsky, Roger Clemens, Elliot Spitzer, Anna Nichole Smith, Britney Spears, Parish Hilton) I have to stop because I'm becoming DISGUSTED with myself at how easily I can rattle off the names of people that, in my opinion, does not even garner the time it spent to type their names compared to the lives of men and women who gave the greatest sacrifice, their lives for our country. What is really appalling is that I can't recall one soldiers name!
I'm waiting patiently to see the ENTIRE Bush Administration brought up on charges of treason. I will regain my faith in American democracy when this happens.
JLag321; Why hasn't some one who has lost a loved one filed a civil suit in the World court against Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld and all the rest for reckless endangerment resulting in death.? Get a civil conviction then go after the criminal charges.
I know I'd be pissed if my kid were injured or killed in a country we went into on a continuous basis of lies and deceit.
You may make a good point as a parent, but as a kid I'd like to b. slap a lot of these parents who chose to have children they couldn't afford to raise and send to school only to encourage them to sign up for the Marines so the bills get paid while there's one less mouth for them to feed back at home.
I think this image is brilliant. Bush and McCain -- and Clinton -- should take responsibility for the 4,000 American dead. Period.
Cheney would just laugh as your son died for oil.
And that's why I'm campaigning for Barack Obama. It doesn't help to get angry if you don't do something positive with that anger. My injured son would be ashamed of me if I didn't.
Cheney and Bush may rest assured that should a similar mosaic of LBJ be made with the faces of the fallen soldiers in Vietnam, Bush's and Cheney's photos need not be in it.
