Nicole Cohen just returned from traveling in New Zealand for five months. Before leaving, she lived in Brooklyn for three years and worked in PR. She became interested in U.S. politics while working as a political organizer in Everett, Washington, during the 2004 elections. She grew up in District of Columbia.
