Ninotchka Rosca is an author, journalist and founder of GABRIELA Network (AF3IRM), the preeminent Filipina-American women’s rights organization. She has written two novels, State of War and Twice Blessed; two short story collections, Bitter Country and Monsoon Country; and two non-fiction books, The Fall of Marcos and Jose Maria Sison: At Home in the World—Portrait of a Revolutionary. Her short stories have been included in several anthologies. Rosca is a board member of The Sisterhood Is Global Institute.
