SUMMARY
In this call, Scheunemann and Biegun review Senator McCain's plan for nuclear security, including an "ultimate" but "distant and difficult goal" of a "nuclear free world, a willingness to work with both Russia and China to reduce the number of nuclear, increase transparency on nuclear testing, and expand the ban in intermediate range nuclear arsenals. "Ensuring civilian nuclear power around the world has absolutely minimal risk for non proliferation. Also addressed in this call is McCain's "support for international enrichment centers to provide enrichment for countries that forego their own enrichment" and an international spent fuel repository.
